FAQs
&Tips About Inkjet Cartridge |
- When to refill?
You have to refill you cartridges before ink in
your cartridge completely runs out. Once the cartridge
is empty, the ink starts to dry and may clog the
nozzle.
- How many times I can
refill?
It depends on the cartridge condition. You can
refill until your cartridges wears out. In general,
you can refill 8 to 10 times with the same cartridges.
- Will using a compatible
cartridge void my warranty?
Major printer manufacturers sell printers at or
below cost. They make their profits from selling
the cartridges. Formerly, once you bought your
expensive new printer you had no choice but to
buy one of their cartridges after yours ran dry.
By using compatibles you are cutting into their
primary source of profit. Because of this, they
will threaten to void your warranty if you use
compatible cartridges. They are simply trying
to protect their own interests anyway they can.
It is however strictly ILLEGAL for them to do
so. They CANNOT VOID YOUR WARRANTY simply for
using compatible cartridges. There is no reason
that you should not use compatible cartridges.
They work and will save YOU money. We've sold
hundreds of printer ink cartridges and laser toners
and never had an incident where a customer's warranty
was "voided" from using our products.
- What are OEM, compatible
(generic), Remanufactured Inkjet/Toner Cartridges
and Refill Kits?
OEM means Original Equipment
Manufacturer. Example: Canon, Epson, HP, etc.
** Recommended Users: Light users in printing
who are willing to pay extra money to prevent
potential printing problems. Business and professional
users in printing who need 100% quality guarantee.
Compatible (Generic) inkjet and toner
cartridges are produced to meet or exceed
OEM inkjet and toner cartridges. Brand new compatible
cartridges are equivalent to OEM products since
they are manufactured based on the same specifications,
including same print out capacity, and same print
out quality. Compatible cartridges are much cheaper
than OEMs, but perform exactly as OEMs.
** Recommended Users: Medium to heavy ink users
who want to save money.
Remanufactured (Refurbished) cartridges
are recycled from OEMs to meet OEM standards.
The process involves collecting empty cartridges,
disassembling, reusing or replacing parts, cleaning
parts, filling with new ink or toner and final
testing before packaging. Due to the comprehensive
procedure, remanufactured cartridges are more
expensive than brand new compatible cartridges.
Some of brands, such as HP, only provide remanufactured
inkjet and toner cartridges. Remanufactured and
compatible cartridges are very similar. The difference
is that remanufactured cartridge uses mostly OEM
parts, but compatibles use about 0% to 40% OEM
parts.
Refill Kits: The most inexpensive
way to replace your ink. Many OEM inkjet cartridges
can be easily refill by users. Kits typically
have bottle of ink, instruction manual, and refill
tools. Normally, kits can be refilled up to 5
times (Depends on the capacity of your inkjet
cartridges). You can save a lot of money by using
refill kits.
- Why should I buy a
compatible cartridge?
Why not? The main reason is because it saves you
lots of money! What other reason do you need?
- How many pages will my
recycled cartridge print?
The amount of ink in a cartridge along with other
printing factors determines how many pages a cartridge
will print. Each OEM (original equipment manufacturer)
cartridge comes with a specific amount of ink
when new ¨C that·¯s the same amount of ink used
in a recycled cartridge. All cartridges are carefully
weighed to be sure they meet these weight specifications
